Mother’s Day Weekend at Stowe Manor
Experience the grounds of Stowe Manor like never before.
Join us for a beautiful spring afternoon at our Sip & Stroll event, hosted by the Historic Belmont Foundation and the Gaston County Art Guild—a perfect way to spend meaningful time together and celebrate the weekend.
Stroll the blooming gardens, enjoy a glass of wine, and watch talented plein air artists paint the estate in real time. Local historians Lucy Penegar and Roland Setzer will be on site sharing fascinating stories that bring this beloved Belmont landmark to life.

Parking & Arrival
Parking is available at First Presbyterian Church, Newbridge Academy, and limited parking in the rear lot of Stowe Manor. Ride share is encouraged to 217 S Central Ave, Belmont.

This event takes place outdoors on the grounds only; the residence will not be open. No refunds due to weather. In the event of rain, an alternate date will be announced (TBD).
